More details

CategoryPrimary Antibodies
Long descriptionRecognizes a protein of 70kDa, identified as p70 subunit of Ku. The epitope of this antibody maps between amino acids 506-541 of p70. The Ku autoantigen is a heterodimer of 70kDa (p70) and ~80kDa (p80) proteins. The p70/p80 dimer is important for function of a 460kDa DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) that phosphorylates certain transcription factors, including Sp1, Oct-1, p53, and SV40 large T antigen in vitro.
Antibody come fromHybridoma produced by the fusion of splenocytes from BALB/c mice immunized with stimulated HUVEC cells and mouse myeloma NS1 cells.
Other descriptionProvided as solution in phosphate buffered saline with 0.08% sodium azide. Protein A/G Chromatography

TestMouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
